The Galaxy Tab Active Pro is slightly better than Apple iPad 3, with a 77.5 score against 71.1. Galaxy Tab Active Pro works with Android 9.0 Pie OS, while Apple iPad 3 comes with iOS 6.1 OS. The Galaxy Tab Active Pro construction is notably newer and a little lighter than Apple iPad 3's, but it's also just a little bit thicker.
The Apple iPad 3 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better screen density and a bit higher 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad 3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a more powerful processor than Apple iPad 3, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. IPad 3 features a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because it has a 11560mAh battery size. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro captures slightly better videos and photos than Apple iPad 3, because it has a back facing camera with a way higher 13 mega pixels resolution and a lot better video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Apple iPad 3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Apple iPad 3. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Apple iPad 3, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
