The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has a global score of 77.5, which is way better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 score. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro's body has the same thickness than LG G Pad 8.0, but it is a lot heavier. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0 version, so it provides you lots of additional features and better performance.

Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with just a bit better hardware performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster) and 3 GB more RAM memory. The LG G Pad 8.0 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a much smaller display, a way worse 1280 x 800 resolution and a just a bit lower pixels quantity per inch in the screen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro captures much better videos and photos than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has a back camera with way more megapixels and a way higher video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a way bigger storage capacity for applications and games than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has more internal memory and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.

The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much longer battery performance than LG G Pad 8.0, because it has an 81% greater battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Active Pro, otherwise you can save some money and get the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go a couple features and specifications.
