Galaxy Tab Active Pro is much better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a score of 77.5 against 58.1. Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a newer tablet than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, but it is thicker and extremely heavier. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has 6 more cpu cores. Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, a little bit smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro also has an external memory card slot that admits up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Active Pro shoots greater photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back camera with a much higher 13 mega-pixels resolution and a much better 3840x2160 video resolution. Galaxy Tab Active Pro features improved battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a 7600mAh battery capacity instead of 6000mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 8.9, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
