Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a bit better than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, with a 77.5 score against 75.2. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Active Pro has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2. Even though the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is notably newer than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, it is heavier and much thicker.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro counts with a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB and more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab Active Pro, because although it has 4 less CPU cores (but faster) and 2 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Active Pro features a much longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 7600mAh battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Active Pro captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video quality and a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Active Pro, else you can save some dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, resigning some features and specs.
