Sony Tablet S's design is thinner but much heavier than Galaxy Tab CDMA, and they were only released 8 months apart. These tablets have Android operating system, but Sony Tablet S has a newer 4.0 version and Galaxy Tab CDMA has Android 2.2 version.

Sony Tablet S counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab CDMA, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.
