Comparison review
Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a little bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a 64.9 score against 60.8. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, giving you a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Tab E 8.0's design has the same thickness than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's somewhat heavier.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a much sharper display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot more pixels per inch in the display and a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a greater storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a superior processing power than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has an additional graphics processor and a greater amount of RAM.
