Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a little bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, with a 64.9 score against 60.8. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2, giving you a couple additional features and performance tweaks. Galaxy Tab E 8.0's design has the same thickness than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but it's somewhat heavier.
