Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a score of 64.9, which is a bit better than the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's overall score of 63.1. Even being the best in this review, Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is an older, somewhat thicker and heavier device than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has an older 5.1 Lollipop version and Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus features a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus also has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a greater pixel density.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with as much memory capacity for apps and games as Galaxy Tab E 8.0, they have the same internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, although it has a camera with a way lower 5 MP resolution and a much worse 1280x720 video definition.
The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a little better battery life than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size.
