The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has an overall score of 75.8, which is better than Galaxy Tab E 8.0's general score of 64.9. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) is a way older and incredibly heavier tablet than the Galaxy Tab E 8.0, but Samsung made it somewhat thinner anyway. Both tablets in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has older 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) features a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a lot greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a larger display. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have 4 cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) also has a higher amount of RAM memory and an extra GPU. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014), although it has a way lower video quality and a back-facing camera with a lot lower 5 MP resolution.

Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 64 percent greater battery size.
