Comparison review

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, with a 64.9 score against 61.7. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 construction is much newer and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's, but it's a bit heavier. Both tablets in this comparison have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has Android 4.1.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's CPU is very similar to the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 one, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has 512 MB lesser RAM memory and a lower number of cores, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, although it has a little less pixels per display inch, a little smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 600 x 1024px.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 128 GB. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with improved battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a way higher resolution back camera.
