Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 7.7, getting a score of 64.9 against 64.8. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version while Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4 version, providing a couple additional features and better performance. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a lot newer than the Galaxy Tab 7.7, it is a bit heavier and somewhat thicker.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 also counts with a little bit higher screen pixel density. Galaxy Tab 7.7 features a bit faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 2 less CPU cores , it also counts with an additional graphics processor.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 features much more memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has an external SD slot that admits up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video definition, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a much more MP back camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little longer battery life than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 5100mAh battery size.
