Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, having a 64.9 score against 58.8. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is a way newer and way lighter tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, although it is also just a little bit thicker.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a quite bigger screen. The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 features much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a SD memory slot that allows up to 128 GB.

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a larger number of cores. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a greater camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a much better resolution back camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a 6100mAh battery capacity.
