The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is much better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, having a global score of 64.9 against 57.6. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison review, the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 design is just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both of these devices have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has the previous 5.1 Lollipop version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little bit better performance than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a brighter display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a greater screen pixel density.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD shoots much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because it has a larger camera aperture, a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a camera in the back with way more megapixels.
