Comparison review

Microsoft Surface 2 is better than the Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, getting a score of 63.4 against 56.7. Microsoft Surface 2 is a much heavier but just a little thinner tablet than the Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0. The Microsoft Surface 2 counts with Windows RT 8.1 operating system, while Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0 comes with Android 4.4 operating system.

Microsoft Surface 2 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface 2 also has a greater amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface 2 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, because it has a just a bit more pixels per inch of display, a lot larger screen and a much better resolution of 1080 x 1920px.

The Microsoft Surface 2 has much more storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0 has a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface 2. Microsoft Surface 2 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.

Although Microsoft Surface 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface 2, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab E Lite 7.0, resigning a couple specifications.
