Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a global score of 60.7, which is slightly better than LG G Pad 8.0's 58.6 global score. These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E has the previous 4.4 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a thinner but extremely heavier portable tablet than LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has 512 MB lesser RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the LG G Pad 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
