Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, having a 60.7 score against 58.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab E's design is much newer and a little bit thinner, but also a little heavier than the Galaxy Tab 8.9. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it provides some nice extra features.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 also counts with a little better amount of pixels in each inch of screen. Galaxy Tab 8.9 counts with a much greater storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 56 GB more internal memory.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E features a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a greater number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab E takes better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab E also has a back facing camera with a much higher 5 mega pixels resolution.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 has greater battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab E, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
