Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 60.7 score against 58.8. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab E is a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it's just a little bit thinner and incredibly newer. These tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab E has a more recent 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, giving some additional features.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE features a better display than Galaxy Tab E, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also counts with a little bit greater count of pixels in each inch of screen. The Galaxy Tab E has just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has more CPU cores.

Galaxy Tab E has much more storage to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because although it has only 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with better battery duration than Galaxy Tab E, because it has 6100mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.

Galaxy Tab E features a superior camera than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have the same (HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab E also has a camera with a much better 5 mega pixels resolution.
