The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is way better than Galaxy Tab, with a overall score of 70.8 against 58.6. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has newer 5.0 version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, providing you a couple nice extra features. Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s construction is much newer, way thinner and a lot lighter than the Galaxy Tab.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) has a better processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has more cpu cores, a greater amount of RAM memory and an extra graphics processor. Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also has a much greater screen pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way more MP camera and a much higher video definition. The Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab's one, and although the Google Nexus 7 (2013) has no slot for SD memory cards, they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Tab has just a bit better battery life than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Google Nexus 7 (2013) is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
