Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab, having a 64.2 score against 58.6. Lenovo ThinkPad 8's construction is heavier but incredibly thinner than Galaxy Tab. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has Windows 8.1 operating system, and Galaxy Tab works with Android 2.3.3 operating system. The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with a better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a much better 1920 x 1200 resolution, a lot greater pixels density and a bigger screen.
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 features a very superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Lenovo ThinkPad 8 counts with an extremely better processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater amount of RAM and 3 more processing cores.
The Lenovo ThinkPad 8 captures clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab has a superior battery life than Lenovo ThinkPad 8.
Although Lenovo ThinkPad 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Lenovo ThinkPad 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab, resigning a couple specs and features.
