Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab's 58.6 general score. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro's construction is newer than Galaxy Tab's, but it's heavier and somewhat thicker.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of cores, a GPU and a larger amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a bit better display than Galaxy Tab, because it has a really bigger screen, a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch in the screen and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920.

Samsung Galaxy Tab takes much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 720x480 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels and faster video frame rate. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab features a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab, resigning a couple features and specs.
