The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an overall score of 82.4, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab's 58.6 global score. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)'s body is a lot newer and noticeably thinner than the Galaxy Tab's, but it is extremely heavier.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM and a greater number of cores. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a way higher 2736 x 1824 resolution, a lot larger screen and a lot better pixels quantity per inch in the screen.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a much better storage capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) shoots slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab, because it has a much more megapixels camera in the back and a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).

So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab, resigning a couple features and specs.
