Comparison review
Galaxy Note 10.1 has a general score of 66.3, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab's 58.6 overall score. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 10.1 has 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it gives some extra features and optimized performance. Galaxy Note 10.1's construction is newer and a lot thinner, but also noticeably heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Galaxy Note 10.1 has a quite superior processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has 1,5 GB more RAM and a larger number of cores (and they are faster). The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab feature incredibly similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a just a bit worse pixel quantity per display inch, it also counts with a way larger screen and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab, because it has more internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Tab has a better camera than Galaxy Note 10.1, although it has a much less megapixels resolution back camera and a way worse video resolution.
Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Although Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Tab. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note 10.1, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy Tab, giving up a couple features and specifications.
