Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab, having a global score of 63 against 58.6. Both of these devices use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is heavier than Galaxy Tab, it's notably thinner and a lot newer.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has 1,5 GB more RAM memory and a greater number of faster cores. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab, resigning some specs and features.
