Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a global score of 62.5, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab's score of 58.6. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has 3.1 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features and improved performance. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a way thinner but much heavier device than Samsung Galaxy Tab.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a bit better CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of 1 gigahertz cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has a just a little lower screen density, it also counts with a higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a really larger display.

Galaxy Tab shoots clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both of them have the same video frame rates, a back facing camera with a 3 megapixels resolution and the same video definition. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has as much storage capacity for games and applications as the Galaxy Tab one, and although the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has no external SD slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a much longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab, because it has a 6800mAh battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
