Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a overall score of 58.6 against 58.1. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab has older 2.3.3 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version. Although Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy Tab 10.1 were released only 7 months apart, Galaxy Tab's design is noticeably lighter but notably thicker.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because although it has a bit inferior pixel quantity in each display inch, it also counts with a way larger screen and a higher resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of cores.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have the same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a lot better (Full HD) video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as Samsung Galaxy Tab's one, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has no external memory slot, they both have equal internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a much better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab not only is the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an obvious call.
