Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a general score of 58.6, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V's general score of 58.5. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab has the older 2.3.3 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V has Android 4.4. Despite being the best device in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Tab's design is thicker and somewhat heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V.
The Galaxy Tab 3 V has a bit superior CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and although they both have a Single-Core CPU, the Galaxy Tab 3 V also has more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 V features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab. Both of them have a same size display, the same screen density and the same resolution of 1024 x 600.
The Galaxy Tab takes a bit better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and although they both have the same 720x480 video quality, the Galaxy Tab also has higher video frame rate and a back facing camera with a much better 3 megapixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Tab counts with a much greater storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage.
Galaxy Tab features just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy Tab 3 V, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab is a better device, it is a little more expensive than Galaxy Tab 3 V, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 3 V. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 3 V, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
