The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features just a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a much higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px, more pixels per inch in the display and a way bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 counts with a very superior hardware performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores.
