Comparison review
Galaxy Tab Active 2 is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab, with a 70 score against 58.6. Both of these devices come with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Active 2 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, providing you a lot of extra features and optimized performance. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 construction is noticeably newer and thinner, but also just a little bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a display that is just as good as the screen in Galaxy Tab, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has a higher 800 x 1280 resolution, a little better pixel density and a bit bigger display.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a greater camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a way better 1920x1080 video resolution and a much more mega pixels back-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a much better memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab, although it has only 16 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Tab Active 2, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Galaxy Tab, giving up some specifications.
