The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is better than Samsung Galaxy Tab's overall score of 58.6. Even though Sony Xperia Tablet Z is heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab, it's way thinner and incredibly newer. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Sony Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version, so it provides the user some nice extra features.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater amount of RAM, an additional graphics processor and a higher number of faster cores. Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a brighter display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a greater display pixel density, a way bigger display and a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.
