Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a lot better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, getting a global score of 74.6 against 60.8. Both tablets in this comparison use Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it offers some additional features and performance tweaks. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's construction is much heavier but thinner than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and they were released with only a few months difference.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a processor that is just as good as Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's CPU, both of them have a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, 4 cpu cores and the same RAM amount. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has a much lower resolution of 1200 x 1920px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels count per display inch.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a little bit better memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a really longer battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
