Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is better than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, getting a 74.6 score against 65.4. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 comes with Android 4.4 OS, while Apple iPad 9.7-inch works with iOS 13.x OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an way older tablet device than the Apple iPad 9.7-inch, but Samsung managed to make it just a bit thinner and just a bit lighter anyway.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a more vivid screen than iPad 9.7-inch, because it has a quite higher display density, a little bigger screen and a slightly better 1600 x 2560 resolution. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than iPad 9.7-inch, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a bit better hardware performance than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a larger number of cores (and faster) and a graphics co-processor. IPad 9.7-inch shoots greater pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both of them have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a 8 mega pixels resolution back camera.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as iPad 9.7-inch. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the iPad 9.7-inch, resigning some specifications.
