Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has an overall score of 79.3, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's score of 74.6. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS operating system, while Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with Android 4.4 operating system. The Google Pixel Slate design is notably newer and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's, but it's also much heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and an extra GPU. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a little bit better display than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower 1600 x 2560 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater pixels quantity in each inch in the display.
Google Pixel Slate takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same resolution back camera. The Google Pixel Slate counts with a much better storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a superior battery life than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
