Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, having a general score of 74.6 against 73.3. These tablets have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has older 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is an notably older portable tablet than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, but it's just a little bit thinner and just a bit lighter anyway.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a way better display than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a better amount of pixels per inch in the display and a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 256 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. They have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video quality and a back facing camera with an 8 MP resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a little better battery duration than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has a 10 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your budget.
