Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is way better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), with a 74.6 score against 61.4. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's design is newer, much lighter and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1). Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1, so it gives you a couple additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much faster processor than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a larger amount of RAM memory, 2 more cores and a graphics co-processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a same size screen, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has a way higher screen density and a lot better 1600 x 2560 resolution.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have an external memory card slot that allows up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has more internal memory. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because it has a much better video definition and a much higher 8 megapixels resolution camera.
