The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a general score of 74.6, which is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's overall score of 58.1. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a more recent 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's body is way newer and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9's, but it's also a little bit heavier.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a much more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an extra GPU and a larger number of cores (and also faster).
