Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, getting a overall score of 74.6 against 58.8. Both of these tablets come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version, providing some nice extra features. Although the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a little heavier than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it's somewhat thinner and much newer.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has an extra graphics processor and a larger number of cores (and faster). The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560, a bit bigger display and a lot greater quantity of pixels per inch of display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 shoots better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video quality and a much higher 8 megapixels resolution back-facing camera. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a way bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 32 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
