Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has a general score of 74.6, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s general score of 68.3. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a incredibly older and noticeably heavier tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), but Samsung managed to build it somewhat thinner anyway. Both devices in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 has 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo version.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also has an additional graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560, a bigger display and a lot better quantity of pixels per inch of screen.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, although it has a lower 1920x1080 video resolution and a back-facing camera with lot less MP resolution. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has much more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 400 GB.

Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 features a superior battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has an 8220mAh battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), letting go a couple features and specifications.
