The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has an overall score of 78.1, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1's 74.6 overall score. Both tablets in this review have the same Android 4.4 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any difference in that aspect. Although it's the best tablet we are comparing, we must note that it's also a a little bit thicker and a lot heavier tablet.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1600 x 2560, the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 also counts with a just a little greater pixels density. The Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a slower GPU, less RAM and an inferior number of cores.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 captures better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1. Both of them have a 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and the same video frame rates. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, because it has a 16 percent bigger battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs a bit more money than the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
