Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is a lot better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a 78.5 score against 60.8. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a more recent 4.4 version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has Android 4.2.2 version, providing the user a couple additional features and a performance increase. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 were released with only 3 months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 body is incredibly heavier but thinner.

The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a processing unit that is just as good as the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 one, and although the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores and a 450 MHz GPU. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a much smaller display and a lot worse 1200 x 1920px resolution, it also counts with a greater count of pixels per inch in the display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with much more memory to install applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a superior battery performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 costs a lot more money than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
