Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is better than Apple iPad 3, having a overall score of 78.5 against 71.1. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's body is newer and somewhat thinner, but somewhat heavier than the Apple iPad 3. The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 comes with Android 4.4 OS, and Apple iPad 3 has iOS 6.1 OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a more powerful CPU than iPad 3, because it has more cores, an extra graphics processing unit and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a bit sharper screen than Apple iPad 3, because although it has a little bit lower pixel quantity per inch of display, it also counts with a larger display and a slightly better 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution. Apple iPad 3 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a lower (Full HD) video definition and a back-facing camera with lot less megapixels.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than iPad 3, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB. The Apple iPad 3 counts with improved battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because it has a 11560mAh battery size.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets.
