Comparison review
Google Pixel Slate is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, getting a 79.3 score against 78.5. Google Pixel Slate's construction is notably newer, just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. Google Pixel Slate comes with Chrome OS OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 comes with Android 4.4 OS.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a bit better processing unit than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor and more processing cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel Slate, although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, a bit smaller screen and a bit lower 1600 x 2560 resolution.
Google Pixel Slate counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has lower video frame rates, they both have a 8 megapixels resolution back-facing camera and the same (Full HD) video definition. Google Pixel Slate has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a much longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel Slate.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, letting go a couple specs and features.
