The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a score of 78.5, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's general score of 58.8. Both tablets in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the newer 4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 version. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's body is extremely newer and just a little bit thinner, but also heavier than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a way larger display, a lot higher resolution of 1600 x 2560px and a higher pixel amount per inch of display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
