The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has an overall score of 78, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's 74 overall score. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has older 4.4 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 version. Although it's the best tablet we are comparing, we must note that it's also a a little bit thicker and a lot heavier tablet.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has a lot smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 2560 x 1600, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, although it has a slower GPU, less RAM and an inferior number of cores.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a camera that is very similar to the camera in Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, both of them have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition. Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has 64 GB internal storage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 98 percent bigger battery size.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones in this comparison, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 is also cheap compared to the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.
