Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has an overall score of 75.5, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's global score of 75.2. Although Huawei MediaPad M5 8 is just a little bit thicker than the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, it's a little bit lighter and much newer. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2, counting with a lot of extra features.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 and Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 feature very similar processing units, because although the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with more RAM and 4 more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a brighter screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 8. The Huawei MediaPad M5 8 features a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB and more internal memory capacity. Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a camera in the back with a much better 13 mega-pixels resolution.
