Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than LG G Pad 8.3, getting a general score of 75.2 against 65.9. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 construction is thinner and a bit lighter than LG G Pad 8.3, even when both of them were released only 4 months apart. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has newer 4.4.2 version and LG G Pad 8.3 has Android 4.4, providing the user lots of additional features and performance tweaks.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit better performance than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have the same RAM amount and 4 processing cores, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has an extra graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit more vivid display than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, a little bigger screen and a greater pixel density.
LG G Pad 8.3 counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a much less megapixels back camera and a worse video resolution. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a superior memory capacity for apps and games than LG G Pad 8.3, and although they both have a SD extension slot that holds up to 64 GB, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has more internal memory.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit better battery life than LG G Pad 8.3, because it has a 4% greater battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs a lot more money than the LG G Pad 8.3, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
