Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an overall score of 75.2, which is better than Microsoft Surface 2's overall score of 63.4. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface 2 has Windows RT 8.1 OS. Even when the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Microsoft Surface 2 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is thinner and lighter.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a way better screen than Microsoft Surface 2, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a lot greater screen density and a higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with just a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has an extra graphics processor.
The Microsoft Surface 2 has a slightly better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface 2.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 2, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest, making this tablet an obvious call.
