Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an overall score of 82.4, which is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's global score of 75.2. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is notably newer than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, it's somewhat thicker and notably heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has Windows 10 Pro OS, while Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a lot better looking display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a quite lower 2560 x 1600 resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a higher number of pixels per display inch. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores.
