The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a general score of 75.2, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface RT's score of 58.4. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT operating system. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 design is newer, noticeably thinner and lighter than the Microsoft Surface RT.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a little bit better performance than Microsoft Surface RT, although it has a weaker graphics co-processor running at 450 MHz, they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has an incredibly better display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a much greater pixel quantity per display inch.

The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 captures a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a way higher 8 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs a lot more than Microsoft Surface RT, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
