Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a score of 75.2, which is better than Samsung Ativ Tab's general score of 66.7. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is a newer tablet, and it is also somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter than Samsung Ativ Tab. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Ativ Tab, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a higher number of cores and a much better 450 megahertz graphics processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better looking screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much better count of pixels per display inch and a way better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes greater photographs and videos than Samsung Ativ Tab, because it has a lot better video resolution and a way better resolution back-facing camera. Samsung Ativ Tab has a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, and although they both have a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 64 GB, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a superior battery life than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 71% larger battery capacity.
Despite of being the best tablet in our comparison, Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also by far the cheapest one.
