The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a 75.2 score against 58.1. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's construction is much newer, somewhat thinner and extremely lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a very superior processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an additional graphics processing unit and a greater number of cores. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a lot better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better 2560 x 1600 resolution and a much greater pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a much greater storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 64 GB. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 6800mAh battery size against 4800mAh.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and better 60 fps video frame rates.
Even being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets.
