The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), getting a score of 75.2 against 65. Both tablets we compare here use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's design is newer, extremely lighter and a lot thinner than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T).
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a greater amount of RAM memory, a faster GPU working at 450 MHz and a higher number of cores (and faster). The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much more vibrant screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much greater display density and a much higher resolution of 2560 x 1600px.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a much more MP camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has much more storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and an external memory card slot that holds up to 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a much better battery duration than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs more money than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
